Rochester, NY--July, 1, 2017-- Tens of thousands poured downtown last night for the sold out show of King Crimson, free shows on outdoor stages and captivating concerts in the clubs.
The Xerox Rochester International Jazz Festival
16th Edition wraps up today with a full lineup in the clubs and free shows on three big outdoor stages - Jazz Street Stage, East Ave and Chestnut Street Stage and the Midtown Stage.
The Hooligans, the Musicians of Bruno Mars, headline in a free show on the City of Rochester Midtown Stage presented by HeluvaGood! Colin James headlines on the free City of Rochester East and Chestnut stage presented by Rochester Regional Health.
Tonight's final late night Jam Session moves to the Legends Bar and Grill at the Radisson Hotel Rochester Riverside starting at 10:30 p.m. with Bob Sneider and his Trio and Karl Stabnau and his quartet. You never know who will show up to play!
This year's festival is featuring more than 1500 artists from 18 countries and more than 325 shows. It is presented in three series - the Club Pass Series
with 230+ shows, the headliner series
of six shows and 95 free shows
and events. The festival's 19 indoor and outdoor venues all within walking distance in Rochester's East End Cultural and Entertainment District.
