Rochester Regional Health Helps Jazz Fest Fans “Move to a Healthy Groove”

June 9, 2017

Rochester, NY--June 9, 2017--In addition to sponsoring the Big Tent and outdoor concerts on the East Ave and Chestnut Street stages, Rochester Regional Health will also have feet on the ground this year offering time, talent, and fun to the festivities.

Rochester Regional Health First Aid Tent – While Rochester Regional Health hopes everyone enjoys a carefree experience during the festival, sometimes unexpected things occur. Members of Rochester Regional's experienced nursing staff will be in the First Aid tent from 5-9 p.m. each evening… just in case. Blisters, scrapes, or something not quite right? Stop by for advice. The friendly staff will be happy to help you get back out into the excitement of Jazz Fest.

Bubble Man – Sometimes music has a way of helping us feel light-hearted. Each Friday and Saturday night between 5:30 p.m. - 9 p.m. bring your inner child to the Bubble Zone on Main Street near the First Aid Tent.  Bubble man, Doug Rougeux, will entertain and enchant you as he creates tiny-to-enormous wonders. He has a witty, gentle and goofy way with kids of all ages, so be sure to stop by. We’ll have bubbles for you too, if you want to join in!

Rochester Regional Health Street Team – Rochester Regional Health employees will put feet on the street Friday and Saturday evenings as they volunteer their time to mingle with patrons and distribute items to help you enjoy the night. Sun too bright? Sunglasses. A little mist in the air? Ponchos, of course. Great seats, but just a little too close to the speakers? Earplugs! All that and more. Look for our Rochester Regional Health Street Team members in their “Move to a Healthy Groove” t-shirts

See you on Jazz Street – Rochester Regional Health will be there!
