Final Headliners Announced for Xerox Rochester International Jazz Festival's 15th Edition - Bruce Hornsby & the Noisemakers and Gregg Allman

Producers John Nugent and Marc Iacona today announced two final headliner shows for the nine-day 15th edition Xerox Rochester International Jazz Festival (XRIJF) June 24 to July 2.

Grammy winning singer, bandleader, pianist and songwriter, Bruce Hornsby and his longtime band the Noisemakers, will perform on Wednesday, June 29. Rock and Roll Hall of Fame inductee and founding member of the Allman Brothers Band, Gregg Allman will perform on Friday, July 1. Both performances will take place at Kodak Hall at Eastman Theatre at 8 p.m.

John Nugent, Producer and Artistic Director, said, "Marc and I are extremely proud to present two icons in the music industry to complete this year's headliner series. Bruce Hornsby has been jamming out some amazing grooves for decades, most notably with the Grateful Dead on over 100 occasions, while Gregg Allman is a living legend and Rock and Roll Hall of Famer having sold millions of records and set trailblazing touring standards with Duane via the one and only Allman Brothers Band."

Tickets go on sale Friday, February 26 at 10 a.m. only at rochesterjazz.com. To order by phone call (585) 454-2060. Tickets for Hornsby are $95 / $85 / $70 / $55. Tickets for Allman are $105 / $95 / $85 / $65. There is a $7 service charge, $9 if mailed, for all tickets.

Tickets for headliners Grace Potter, Erykah Badu, Chris Botti (limited) and Chick Corea are still available.

The new 3-day Club Pass and traditional 9-day Club Pass are also on sale at rochesterjazz.com for $154 and $204 respectively, plus service charges.

The full Festival lineup including Club Pass Series and Free Shows Series will be announced on Tuesday, March 22.
