See Roger Hodgson on Special TV Presentation Thursday June 6 on WXXI TV
Tune in on Thursday, June 6 at 8 p.m. to WXXI-TV for the special presentation, Roger Hodgson: Take the Long Way Home - Live in Montreal. Roger Hodgson is recognized as one of the most gifted composers, songwriters and lyricists of our time and one of the most recognizable voices in rock history. Supertramp's legendary cofounder and singer-songwriter presents some of his classic hits, including "Dreamer," "Breakfast in America," "Give a Little Bit," "The Logical Song," and "Take the Long Way Home." Recorded in Montreal, Take the Long Way Home reveals both the intimacy of his shows and the incredible force of a legendary musician in absolute top form.
Hodgson and his band will be performing at the Xerox Rochester International Jazz Festival on June 26. Read more and get tickets.
Schedule Update: Sharon Jones & The Dap-Kings Cancel Touring For 2013 - Including Appearance at XRIJF June 28
Sharon Jones & the Dap-Kings announced that plans to tour in 2013 have been postponed due to illness. We wish Sharon all the best and a speedy recovery. The James Hunter Six, previously scheduled for 7PM on June 28th, will now play at 9PM. Added to the schedule, now performing at 7PM on the 28th, is two-time Grammy nominee, Shemekia Copeland. Both are free shows on the City of Rochester East Avenue and Chestnut Street Stage presented by Rochester General Health System.

Snaps Photo Exhibit Open Now through June 30
If you haven't seen it, the first ever exhibit of retrospective images from XRIJF is now open at the Center at High Falls Art Gallery. See 200 select works of 13 photographers who have covered the festival from 2002 to 2012. The show is free and open to the public and includes works of Frank DeBlase, Jim Dolan, Mark Druziak, Tom Flint, Tom Frizelle, Tim Fuss, Garry Geer, Kelli Marsh, Peter Parts, Michael Riebesehl, Fred SanFilipo, Don Ver Ploeg and Kelley Yost.
