Rochester International Jazz Festival Announces 2007 Festival Dates--2007 Club Pass Goes on Sale Nov 17 at Limited-time Discount Price

Rochester, NYóNovember 13, 2006óThe Rochester International Jazz Festival (RIJF) ( presented by Heluva Good Quality Foods has announced dates for the Festivalís sixth edition. The spectacular nine-day event will be held Friday June 8 through Saturday June 16, 2007.

The artist lineup, schedule and venues for the Festival's Club Pass Series, Senator Jim Alesi Eastman Theatre series, and free concerts on outdoor stages will be announced the first week in April 2007.

RIJF has become one of nationís largest and fastest growing music festivals, drawing fans from all across the U.S. and around the world. The 2006 Festival drew a record crowd of 80,000 people. They came to hear more than 170 concerts featuring a diverse and international lineup of legendary Grammy award-winning artists and critically-acclaimed jazz and contemporary groups.

Club Pass on Sale Nov. 17 -- More Venues, More Concerts --Limited Supply -- Last Yearís Pass Sold Out

The popular Club Pass, which sold out for the first time in 2006, goes on sale at a limited-time discount price November 17 at 10 a.m. for $99 plus $4 service charge. The discount is good through December 31, 2006. The Pass increases to $109 plus $4 service charge January 1, 2007 through April 5 and to $119 plus service charge April 5 to the Festival.

Two more venues will be added to the Club Pass Series in 2007, adding to the Passís exceptional value. The Pass will allow unlimited access to more than 120 Club Pass Series shows during the nine-day festival. In addition to offering great savings, the Pass allows people to experience and discover a wide range of diverse music over the course of the Festival from rising stars to legends. Most venues are within walking distance making it easy to move freely from one venue to another on any given night.

Individual Club Pass Series concert tickets will also available at the door only during the Festival and range from $15 to $25. No advance sale individual show tickets are available for Club Pass Shows.
