Ticket Shop

Hours: June 5 - June 22- 10AM - 5PM, Monday - Friday, closed weekends. June 23 - July 1 open daily 10AM - 11PM 
See street closings. Gibbs Street between East and Main St. is closed throughout the fest to traffic. East Ave near the shop is also closed for Fri/Sat night shows. Park and walk to the shop.  

Headliner Series Show Tickets 

Prices plus services charges of $7 per ticket, $9 per ticket if mailed. Ticket prices are the same for children, adults, students, and seniors.  The Club Pass is not good for Headliner Series shows. Bring your e-ticket receipt printed out or on your smartphobe to be scanned at entry. 

Will Call for Headliner Show Tickets
Will Call Tickets for Eastman Theatre headliner shows will be available one hour before the show in the Eastman Theatre lobby. Look for the Will Call Table. 
 

Free Shows

You do not need tickets for any free shows.  All shows go on rain or shine.  Food and beverages available at all outdoor stage venues,  Bring lawn chairs or stools.

Buy 3-day Club Pass  - Unlimited access to Club Pass Series shows on any three days of your choice during the festival. $154 plus $6 service charge. You choose the days and see as many shows and come and go as you like on those days.  Your Pass will be punched on each day you use it. After the third day it is punched, the Pass is no longer valid.  Pass prices are the same for children, adults, students, and seniors.  Club Pass is NOT good at headliner shows at Eastman Theatre. Passes are NOT transferable. 
 
Buy 9-Day Club Pass -  Unlimited access to Club Pass Series shows on all nine days of the festival. See as many shows and come and go as you like. $204 plus service charge charges. Ticket prices are the same for children, adults, students, and seniors.  Pass prices are the same for children, adults, students, and seniors.  Club Pass is NOT good at headliner shows at Eastman Theatre. Passes are NOT transferable. 
 
Single entry access to Club Pass shows - $30 ($35 Kilbourn Hall) at the door. Cash only, no advance sales. M&T Bank ATMs are conveniently located throughout the festival site. Entry prices are the same for children, adults, students, and seniors.  Doors open 30 minutes before shows at all venues. 
 
Save Time in Line at Kilbourn Hall and Max of Eastman Place

At two of our busiest venues, Kilbourn Hall and Max of Eastman Place (6 PM & 6:15 PM shows only), we offer a wristband system to save patrons time spent in line and more time to enjoy other shows and activities around the festival.

Here's How It Works - Club Pass holders and those paying cash at the door may line up and receive a color-coded wristband that will specify a return time to see the show. You must be present and in line to get a wristband. Come back at your assigned time and enjoy the show!

Kilbourn Hall - 6 PM Show Only - Color-coded wristbands will be issued starting at 4 PM

First 50 Wristbands - Entrance time 5:30-5:35

51-100 Wristbands - Entrance time 5:35-5:40

101-250 Wristbands - Entrance time 5:40-5:45 

Max of Eastman Place - 6:15 PM Shows Only - Color-coded wristbands will be issued starting at 4:15 PM 

First 50 Wristbands - Entrance time 5:45-5:50

51-100 Wristbands - Entrance time 5:50-5:55

101-150 Wristbands - Entrance time is 5:55-6:00 

Please note: Seating is first-come, first-served, whether you have a wristband, a Club Pass or paid at the door. If you miss your assigned entrance time you can enter any time afterward up to 15 minutes before the show starts. Space will not be guaranteed if you are late. If you arrive after 5:45 (Kilbourn) or 6:00 (Max) you must go to the back of the general line. Only wristbands that are on your wrist will be accepted for entry.

 
New Personalized Club Pass Starts at 2017 Festival - Here's How it Works

This year Club Passes will be personalized with the pass holder's name and photo to enhance security.

Starting late April, patrons who purchased Club Passes will receive an email with instructions on personalizing their pass online by uploading a photo and providing brief contact information. It's easy and fast. If you purchased Passes for others, you can either complete those forms yourself or forward to the recipients for them to do. 

Then, starting June 5, patrons can pick up their personalized Club Passes at the Festival's Ticket Office at 12 Gibbs Street (please note our new location).  To pick up your passes, you must show proof of your purchase and bring your festival Ticket Confirmation order either printed out or on your smartphone. 

FAQs on the New XRIJF Personalized Club Pass 2017

How do I get my Personalized Club Pass?

Look for an email from the festival with a link and instructions to complete the short form and upload your photo.

The online process must be completed by May 18 to save time in line at the Festival Ticket Office.

Once you have completed the online form and uploaded your photo, you simply bring your Club Pass Ticket receipt, either printed out, or shown on your smartphone, to the Festival Ticket Office at 12 Gibbs Street any time from June 5 to throughout the festival. Please note, this a new location for the Shop. The Ticket Shop is open June 5-22 from 10AM – 5PM, Monday – Friday, and from June 23 – July 1 from 10AM – 11PM.

If you purchased Club Passes for other members of your family or friends, you can either complete the forms and upload their photos or forward the email to them and they can complete the process themselves. The email you receive will explain how to do that.

If you are unable to upload a photo prior to May 18, you can have your photo taken at the Ticket Shop and receive your personalized pass at that time. You must bring your Club Pass Ticket receipt with you to receive your Pass.

When will I receive the email and information on how to provide the information for my pass?

Emails are being sent to all Club Pass purchasers before April 26     

Why are you changing the pass?

Xerox and XRIJF are working together to create personalized Club Passes for all our patrons to enhance security at the festival, streamline the Club Pass use process during the festival, and to develop a rewards program for our loyal Club Pass holders.

 Can I loan my pass to someone if I am not able to use it?

As has been the case since the Festival began in 2002, each Club Pass may be used by only one person, the person who purchased the pass or the person who received a Pass as a gift. Passes are non-transferable. All 2017 festival Club Passes must include a photo of the Pass holder. The Pass may not be transferred or used by another patron at any time. Any patron using the pass of another patron at any Club Pass venue door will be denied entry or required to pay $30 or ($35 at Kilbourn Hall).

 How and where do I pick up my pass? 

You may pick up your personalized Club Pass at the Jazz fFest Ticket Shop June 5-22 from 10AM – 5PM, Monday – Friday, and from June 23 – July 1 from 10AM – 11PM. You must bring either: 1) A printout of your Ticket Receipt 2) The receipt shown on your smartphone 3) Or, your order number.

I haven’t purchased a pass yet but plan to. Do I still buy the pass at rochesterjazz.com?

 Yes! You can buy a pass anytime up to and during the festival. Purchase online at www.rochesterjazz.com. Click on 3 or 9 Day Pass, choose ticket delivery option and check out. Simple as that!

 Will this increase the price of the pass?

No, Club Pass prices remain the same.

Who will have access to my photo and information?

The online photo upload personalization process is a secure process. Your information is never shared with any organization outside of the Xerox Rochester Internal Jazz Festival.

If I lose my pass, will I be able to get a new one?

Yes, just come to the Festival Ticket Office and a replacement Pass will be issued.

If I forget to bring my pass what do I do? If you forget to bring your pass, please go to the ticket shop and advise the ticket staff who will alert the venue manager of your situation. Verification of ID and pass validity is required.

I don’t have access to a computer, how do I provide my photo?

Please come to the Festival Ticket Shop any time June 5-22 from 10AM – 5PM, Monday – Friday, and from June 23 – July 1 from 10AM – 11PM and we will take your photo and provide you with your Pass.

 I don’t have a photo to upload, can you take my picture?

Please come to the Festival Ticket Shop any time June 5-22 from 10AM – 5PM, Monday – Friday, and from June 23 – July 1 from 10AM – 11PM and we will take your photo and provide you with your Pass.

 I don’t like how my photo looks on my Pass. Can I have it retaken?

You will have a chance to review your photo online but once you submit your photo, you will not be able to change it afterwards. So make sure we can see only your smiling face!

Can I complete the Pass Personalization process from my mobile device?

Yes, you can complete the form and select a photo from your smartphone or tablet. You must have Wi-Fi or a data plan to submit the form.

XRIJF Online Ticketing System

When you purchase tickets via the rochesterjazz.com secure ordering system you will receive a unique patron ID and E-ticket with a barcode. Customers then have several options as to how to redeem their E-tickets.

Only one scan per bar code is possible.  All online sales final. No exchanges, no refunds.

All headliner tickets will be scanned at the point of entry to Kodak Hall at Eastman Theatre.

  • Print your headliner E-tickets at home and bring it to the festival to be scanned.
  • Take a photo of your E-ticket with your smartphone, and bring it to the festival to be scanned for entry to a headliner show. No paper needed!
  • For those who prefer a ticket be mailed, tickets will be mailed for a fee of $2 per order.
  • For those without online access, call the office at 585-454-2060, to order a Club Pass or headliner ticket.

Once redeemed for an official pass, the pass is not transferable.  The resale of ticket for more than its face value without the written consent of the Xerox Rochester International Jazz Festival  (XRIJF, d/b/a RIJF, LLC) is prohibited by law.  As a festival patron, you assume all risk and danger incidental to attending festival performances, inside and outside any and all venues whether occurring prior to, during, or after said show(s). 
You assume all risk and danger of being injured in any manner and you agree that the management, its agents, and the performers are not responsible or liable for any injuries resulting from such causes. 
 
No alcohol, drugs or weapons are allowed in any XRIJF venues. Food or glass containers may be allowed in some XRIJF venues, solely at the discretion of venue management.    No recording devices, still or video cameras permitted in any festival venues. No transmission or aiding in transmitting any description, account, picture, or reproduction of any festival performance. You hereby consent to the reasonable search for alcoholic beverages, drugs, or weapons.    You hereby consent to the use of your image or likeness incidental to any display, transmission, or reproduction of the event. Festival staff reserve the right to refuse admission or eject any person whose conduct is deemed by the festival to be disorderly or who fails to comply with the terms and conditions herein. In the event of a cancellation for which there is no rescheduled date, a refund for this ticket may be issued at the option of the festival and may not include additional ticketing fees (i.e., ticketing operations fee, shipping fees, etc.).
