While performing a benefit for Camp Good Days, when asked about his favorite kind of music to play C-Note's response was simply: "Good!" For over 30 years C-Note has been doing just that, playing good music for anyone who needed a bass player. What started with vibrant Sunday night Jam sessions in the 80s continues today through a diverse career that has taken many twists and turns, including making continual strides for musical enlightenment through the Eastman Community Music School. Typically a sideman, here C-Note steps out as leader, with his old friend and mentor Paul Hofmann, presenting some of that good music which has been inspirational since childhood. Accompanying them will be friends both old and new, officially bringing C-Note's vision to the 2017 edition of the RIJF.
